Glenbuchat Estate

Hendry, Ramsay & Waters are privileged to offer a unique experience of shooting and post shoot whisky tasting  with David Sole OBE (Former British Lion & Captain of the Scotland Rugby team) at his Glenbuchat Estate.

Glenbuchat lies just inside the eastern boundary of the Cairngorm National Park and is only a few miles from Balmoral Castle the highland home of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth.  Owned and operated by David Sole, Glenbuchat offers a totally unique experience.  Guests will enjoy a very pleasant day’s driven pheasant shooting of 120 testing birds hosted by David himself followed by dinner and accommodation in the newly refurbished Castle Lodge.

David is also a roving brand ambassador for The Balvenie malt whisky and is able to offer a tutored tasting of a number of expressions of The Balvenie to provide guests with unique insights into Scotland’s national tipple and this award winning malt whisky.  Along with his experiences as Captain of the Scottish National Team on a record 25 occasions you will enjoy a truly unique experience.

This exclusive package can be offered with 1 or 2 nights accommodation and a second days shooting can also be provided.
