As a hunting experience, it does not get any better – this Victorian lodge is steeped in hunting history with the likes of The Duke of Wellington and Winston Churchill who once stayed in Ben Armine and hunted on the estate.
The scenery is breathtaking with hills and heather for as far as the eye can see.
The stalking is accompanied and the animals are carefully managed. Estate rifles can be supplied. Own rifles can be used and are subject to a zero test at the start of the day. Permits for overseas visitors can be arranged. There are no trophy fees.
There are two additional Bothies that provide for a stay by the Loch and a further for Stalkers for an overnight on the hill then return to the main lodge
